THE GREAT RIDGE TREK, PEAK DISTRICT - MEN'S ONLY TREK

In Aid of an Orphan Village build in Zanzibar

Join us for a rewarding journey across The Great Ridge in the Peak District, one of the UK’s most iconic and scenic routes. This trek offers stunning views, varied terrain, and a chance to enjoy the outdoors.

Distance: 11km (moderate trek with some steep sections)

Meeting Point: Bedford, exact location TBC

Dates: Saturday, 12 April 2025 (LIMITED SPACES)

Time: 9am - 3.30pm approx. (excluding travel time)

Registration Fee: £39 (includes transport, mountain guide, and breakfast)

Fundraising Target: £250 per participant

Charity: Al-Ansari Foundation

Essentials:

- Waterproof jacket

- Hiking boots (if they are new please wear into them)

- Warm layers (like a fleece) it can get cold and windy

- Water

- Lunch/snacks (Sandwiches, nuts, energy bar etc)

- Any personal medication

Optional for added comfort:

- Wooly hat

- Hiking trousers & socks

- Hiking gloves

- Hydro gels/granola bars

- Fruit

- Compeed plasters

- Lucozade sports

11:00 Start trek
