Bedford's Ready Steady Ride event a roaring success

On June 29 2024, Bedford International Athletic Stadium buzzed with excitement as it hosted the first-ever Ready Steady Ride event. The event saw 55 enthusiastic children aged three to 11 participate in a fun and challenging bike and scooter ride, covering distances from one to five miles.

Bedford team scales Kinder Scout to help supply clean water in Zanzibar

A team of Bedford ‘brothers’ has scaled Kinder Scout, the highest point in the Peak District, in a challenging trek to raise over £24,000 for Al Ansari Foundation, which is helping to create access to clean water in Zanzibar.

International Women’s Day and Ramadan: Uniting women and making change.

The theme this year for IWD was ‘Accelerate Action,’ calling for collective efforts and actions in making long lasting progress in advancing towards gender equality, in all aspects of society.

The Hawaa Empower IWD event created an inclusive space where women of all faiths and backgrounds came together to recognise shared struggles, celebrate achievements and inspire collective action.
