Join us for an evening with Shaykha Saleha Bukhari and Muftiyah Nasima Umm Hamza who will deliver a seminar on navigating grief through faith and finding your purpose from the pain. There will also be an hour Q&A, so come prepared with your questions.

Speaker Profiles

Shaykha Saleha Bukhari

Shaykha Saleha Bukhari is a distinguished scholar based in the UK, specialising in Prophetic traditions, Quran & Tajweed, Fiqh, and Islamic studies. She holds a Sharia degree from the Ebrahim College seminary and is a graduate of the Dawratul Hadith Programme, where she further specialised in Prophetic traditions.

Having studied under numerous eminent UK scholars, including Sh. Akram Nadwi, Mufti Barkatullah, Sh. Abdul Hakim Murad and many more. Shaykha Saleha has obtained Ijaazah in Sahih Al-Bukhari and in Qira’a of the Quran.

Shaykha actively advocates for the empowerment of Muslim women through education. She has delivered lectures and courses for various organisations, including the civil service, universities, and businesses such as Morgan Stanley, Price Waterhouse, and Deloitte.

Muftiya Nasima Umm Hamza

Muftiyah Nasima Umm Hamza holds a degree from Queen Mary University in Pharmaceutical Chemistry, she is a qualified teacher. After studying in Egypt and attaining Ijazaat and an Islamic Scholarship (Alimiyyah) under the tutelage of Shaykh Akram Nadwi, she established The Quran Institute with her husband. Currently, she is an instructor and a course co-ordinator for The Quran Institute, a Deputy Headteacher at The Quran Academy which she also co-founded with her husband, in addition to her pastoral care work at al-Madad Outreach. She completed her studies in iftaa at Darul Ilm Birmingham to qualify as a muftiyah. She is also a proud mother of four.
